Manitoba Pony Chuckwagon and Chariot Championships

“Pure adrenaline”

Some folks call it the “half mile of hell” we just call it pure adrenaline and cowboys having fun. The Manitoba Pony Chuckwagon and Chariot Championships are held each year at the Northwest Round-up and Exhibition and thousands of fans buckle into their seats to witness the excitement.

The Manitoba Pony Chuckwagon & Chariot Association was formed in 1963. Today the Association has over a 100 active members involved in chuckwagon and chariot racing and each July they head to Swan River Valley to crown a provincial champion.
